Boyletts Law founder Kim Boylett was named private client lawyer of the year at the 2019 CILEx awards and has now opened a modern law firm that represents the needs of today’s society.
Local award-winning lawyer, Kim Boylett has opened her own law practice in Sawbridgeworth. Having worked for several law firms in both Essex and London over the last 15 years, Kim went on to win the Highly Commended Private Client Lawyer of the Year Award at the prestigious CILEx National Law Awards in 2019. After being made redundant at the beginning of the lockdown earlier this year Kim felt that the time was right to do things her own way.
To support her in this endeavour, Kim has enlisted the help of her brother Jamie McDermott – who has built up significant marketing experience in the legal sector since 2012. As well as providing marketing support, Jamie has assisted with the setting up of a number of website features, which include users being able to complete much of the wills and probate processes online should they wish, and also booking meetings to be conducted by Zoom or video call. Jamie has also assisted with creating a COVID19 safe environment so that clients can visit the office safely for face to face meetings should they wish to do so.

In the current pandemic it is not always possible for clients to visit our office for face to face meetings, so we have made as many alternative options available as possible to ensure everyone can get the legal help that they need.”
