How the online probate service works

Our online Probate service provides a solution for our clients who have busy diaries, cannot leave the house, or are otherwise unable to come to see us for a face-to-face meeting.

Simply complete the form below and a member of our team will be in touch. On simple Probate applications we provide a client promise to have your Probate application ready within two working days. For more complex Probate applications, we provide a timescale on a case-by-case basis but as a guide it is usually five working days.

All documentation sent over to us via our online Probate service is sent via a secure connection so you can have peace of mind that your information is safe with us.

We also offer a full estate administration service, and you can find out more about this on our Probate – How we can help page.

Please see our guide to how the process works below.

How the Online Probate Service works:

1

One of our lawyers will give you a call to take more detailed instructions from you about the estate. They will be able to answer any questions you may have, confirm our fixed fee costs and how we can help you.

2

We will need to verify your identity during this call so if possible, please have your passport and driving licence with you.

3

After instructions for us to act for you have been confirmed, we will discuss the information we require and you can email this to us or send it to us in the post should you prefer.

4

The only upfront payment we require is the Court fee.

5

Upon receipt of all of the information we will send the completed Probate application papers to you within two working days for you to check, sign and return.

6

Once received we will make your application to the Court.
